A dehydrator is a special liquid that additionally degreases, disinfects and removes excess moisture from the top layer of the nail plate, which ensures adhesion of the gel polish to the plate.  If the client has a wet type of nail plate, it is MANDATORY to use a dehydrator, in some cases it can be applied twice.
